This was my first time attending Governors Ball and I definitely wanna come back! For those like me who have been eagerly waiting for the summer, it was a great way to preview what summer is going to bring; hot sun, epic music, lots of ice cream, and summer outfits!

Essa foi a primeira vez que participei do Governors Ball e eu definitivamente quero voltar ano que vem! Para as pessoas que como eu estavam esperando ansiosamente para o verão, foi uma ótima maneira de visualizar o que o verão vai trazer; sol, calor, músicas épicas, muito sorvete, e roupas de verão!

Randall's island is a perfect location for the event; so much green grass to just sit down, relax, and enjoy the festival! I was a little afraid of having a hard time to get to the Island, and I opted for crossing the bridge waking from 125th street and it was super easy and fun. And even though the weather was not perfect - it was a bit cold, people's happy energy kept the summer feeling alive.

A Ilha Randall's Island é um local perfeito para o evento; cheio de grama para sentar, relaxar, e apreciar o festival! Eu estava um pouco com medo de ser difícil de chegar na ilha (porque tinha muita gente indo para o evento, trafico, e etc), e eu optei por atravessar a ponte à pé pela rua 125th e foi super fácil e divertido. E embora o clima não estava perfeito (estava um pouco frio) a energia feliz das pessoas manteve o sentimento de verão vivo!

I loved seeing all the outfits and how so many people took their time to choose a festival inspired look! I always see reports of what people were wearing at festivals, but it's totally different from seeing in person, because there are tons of cool outfits that we don't see featured in the reports. It was inspiring!

Eu adorei ver todas as roupas e como tantas pessoas realmente investiram tempo para montar um look inspirado no festival! Eu sempre vejo fotos do que as pessoas estavam usando nos festivais, mas é totalmente diferente de ver em pessoa, porque há vários looks legais que não vemos em fotos. Foi inspirador!

I was wearing a black tank top from Uniqlo. This top is part of the AIRism line, and I chose to wear it because it's so comfortable and ideal for a day outside. I also wanted to wear a plain colored top because I didn't want my outfit to look like I was wearing "too much", since I wanted to wear this jewelry belt and a bolder makeup. Although for many people there is no such thing as "too much" for a festival look, that's what I felt like wearing and I love how it turned out.

Eu estava usando um top preto básico da Uniqlo. Esee top é parte da linha AIRism, e eu decidi usar ele porque é muito confortável e ideal para um dia inteiro ao ar livre. Eu também queria usar um top bem básico porque eu não queria que o meu look ficasse "exagerado" já que eu queria usar esse cinto e uma maquiagem mais ousada. Embora que para muitas pessoas não existe tal coisa como look "exagerado" em festivais, isso foi o que eu senti vontade de vestir e adorei como ficou.
