As a loyal wine lover, I was super excited to try the Vine Vera products because they have Resveratrol as their main ingredient. Resveratrol is found in the skin of red grapes, and that’s the reason of the connection with wine.
This powerful ingredient is an antioxidant that cleanses our skin from impurities and helps to prevent the appearance of aging signs. I decided to try the Merlot line, because after some research and reading reviews I became really interested in trying the Refining Peeling out and I am so glad I did.
The cleansing kit comes with a milk cleanser and a tonic. They worked amazingly because it felt very delicate on my skin. However, since I am so used to washing my face at night, I still rinsed it off after using the milk cleanser, even though the instructions said I didn’t need to.
Both day and night creams made my skin look very hydrated and glowing. Although I do wish that the day cream had sunscreen in its formula. For me that’s the only missing thing.
Lastly but not least, my favorite of the Merlot line is the Refining Peeling. This product is insane!! I don’t think I can live without it!! No joke!
The first time I used it I thought it wouldn’t do much cleaning because the product felt really soft on my fingers, and I was expecting some sort of scrub. Then, once I started applying it on my face in circular movements the magic happened: a lot (I mean A LOT) of dead skin came out! I felt so gross because it was like I had never cleaned my face before. When I was done “peeling” my face felt so fresh and so clean, like new.
I have been using the products for 4 weeks now, applying the peeling once a week. I can’t wait to see how my face will look like at the end of the year during holidays’ vacation! Cheers!
