Last Sunday I went on hike in Bear Mountain, NY. It was my first hike in the US and I had so much fun. The place was absolutely beautiful! Gorgeous views of the Hudson River and it's surroundings.

No domingo passado eu fiz uma trilha em Bear Mountain, NY. Foi a minha primeira trilha aqui nos EUA e eu adorei. O lugar e absolutamente lindo! Vistas deslumbrantes do Rio Hudson e natureza ao seu redor.

I was wearing something comfortable: leggings + converse sneakers and my new dream believe achieve sweatshirt by Sincerely Jules. I love her T-shirts and now I got her sweatshirt. I really like their quality, but the main reason I love them is because of the Dream Believe Achieve quote, which inspires me.

An evening in Chelsea

The Chelsea piers are located on the West Side of Manhattan in the Chelsea neighborhood. There you can find a huge sports complex, and other things related to sports like stores, and TV studios. You'll also find places to eat, countless art galleries, and places on the water to have drinks with your friends. It a great place in the summer because you will be seated outside while enjoying the breeze from the river. And also because it has a gorgeous view, especially during sunset time. Since the weather was still nice, I wore this blue dress which is one of my fav casual dress. It is very comfortable and I love how easy it is to wear them. This dress looks very casual without heels so I gave it a little of "fanciness" by adding red lips and animal print sunnies.

Chelsea Piers é uma série de pier no lado oeste de Manhattan no bairro Chelsea. Lá você encontra um enorme complexo esportivo, e outras coisas relacionadas a esporte, como lojas e estúdios de TV. Você também pode encontrar lugares para comer, e beber com seus amigos. É um ótimo lugar no verão, por causa da brisa do rio. E também porque tem uma vista deslumbrante, principalmente durante o por do sol. Ja que o tempo ainda estava quentinho, eu usei esse vestido azul, que e um dos meus vestidos casuais que mais gosto. Ele e super confortável e eu adoro a forma como é fácil de usar. Esee vestido e bem casual sem salto, então eu dexei um pouco mais "fancy/chic" acrescentando batom vermelho, e oculos com estampa de onca.

I love stripes!
You can tell me that they make you fat, and whatever you want, I will still love them.
I have many stripes shirts, but I was very happy when I found this red one.
I am actually still looking for a red stripes shirt, but not cropped like this one. Please let me know where to find! haha

The Williamsburg Flea

Hello Beautiful people!
I hope you like this outfit because I love how these pictures came out!
It was a totally random day which I went to the Williamsburg Flea Market and was wearing my favorite denim shorts, and a shirt of a friend of mine. I love to combine animal print with gold accessories. It looks glam and simple. I usually don't like to wear more than one piece with animal print in the same outfit, like the sunglasses + the shirt I am wearing, but in this case I really liked it. Maybe because they are in different shades, the sunglasses are a bit darker, so they look good together. Unfortunately I don't have the credits for the t-shirt, but it was a regular t-shirt before, and my friend cut the sleeves out, turning it into a muscle tee. It looks very cool.

Espero que gostem desse look porque eu adorei como essas fotos ficaram.
Foi em um dia totalmente aleatório no qual eu fui para a Williamsburg Flea Market, e estava usando meu shorts jeans favorito, e uma camisa de um amig minha. Adoro combinar animal print com acessórios dourado. Fica simples e glamuroso. Eu normalmente não gosto de usar mais de uma peça com animal print no mesmo look, como o óculos de sol + a camisa que eu estou usando, mas nesse caso eu realmente gostei. Talvez porque eles sejam em diferentes tons, os óculos são um pouco mais escuros, então eles ficam legais juntos. Infelizmente eu não tenho os créditos para a camiseta, mas era uma camiseta normal antes, e minha amiga cortou as mangas, e acabou transformando em uma tee muscle. Ficou bem estilosa.

Greenpoint is a neighborhood of Brooklyn. It is bordered by Williamsburg so there are stylish hipsters walking around, but it is more residential and quieter than Williamsburg. Besides watching the cool people, what I like the most about this place is how clean and nice it look, and also the good places to eat. In the evening after taking the following pictures, I had dinner in the most romantic place I have ever eaten. It is called Milk and Roses Bistro. They have a very cute outside area full of plants and low lights, and the food was great. Greenpoint is a great place to visit if you are in Brooklyn.

Now let's talk a little bit about my outfit. The shirt I am wearing is by Rolla Coaster. I was not able to find it online and it was a gift, so unfortunately I have no idea where to find it. It looks like a simple black Tee but the back of it is long. I love to match it with shorts or leggings plus a necklace as a last touch. If you know where to find this style of Tees please let me know.

I also want to bring some attention to my bag. It is a backpack, but also can be a handbag. I found it at Forever 21 for a great price (link to buy it at the end of the post). I have been wearing this bag all the time now and differently from a lot of stuff from Forever 21 it has a good quality. The material of it is pretty good and it looks fancy, definitely a great find. xo!

Greenpoint é um bairro do Brooklyn. Fica do lado de Williamsburg entao tem varios hipster descolados andando por la, entretanto é mais residencial e mais silencioso do que Williamsburg. Além de ver as pessoas estilosas, o que eu mais gosto sobre esse lugar é o quanto é limpo, bonito, e também os bons lugares para comer. Depois de tirar as seguintes fotos, eu fui jantar no lugar mais romântico que eu já comi. Ele é chamado Milk and Roses Bistro . O restaurante têm uma área externa muito bonita, cheio de plantas, luzes fracas, e a comida é ótima. Greenpoint é um ótimo lugar para visitar se você estiver em Brooklyn.

Agora vamos falar um pouco sobre a minha roupa. A camisa que estou usando é da Rolla Coaster. Eu não consegui achar ela online e ganhei ela de presente, então infelizmente eu não tenho nenhuma idéia de onde encontrá-la. Ela parece uma camiseta preta simples, mas a parte de trás é longa. Eu gosto de vestir ela com shorts ou leggings, e um colar para dar um último toque. Se você sabe onde encontrar esse estilo de camiseta por favor me avise.
Eu também quero trazer um pouco de atenção para a minha bolsa. É uma mochila, mas também pode ser uma bolsa. Eu encontrei ela na Forever 21 por um ótimo preço (link para comprar no final do post, me avisem se quiserem encomendar do Brasil). Eu tenho usado essa bolsa o tempo todo, e diferente de um monte de coisas da Forever 21, essa bolsa tem uma boa qualidade. O material é muito bom e parece algo chique e fancy, definitivamente um grande achado.

Just Watched Beyonce's VMA performance and I am always amazed with how awesome she is. Her new album is great, and I can not choose only one favorite music video. I really love XO. I love it because it was recorded in Coney Island, and because her outfit is genial. So simple and casual: a white sleeveless top and jeans. But all the gold jewelry and purple lipstick turns it in something more chic. I had so much fun doing this shoot, and I love how it turned out. I am definitely putting this outfit on again soon and feel like Beyonce. She rocks! XO.

Acabei de assistir a performance da Beyoncé no VMA e fico sempre impressionada com o quão incrível ela é. Seu novo álbum é ótimo, e eu não consigo escolher apenas um vídeo clip favorito. Eu adoro o clip XO. Eu adoro porque foi gravado em Coney Island, e porque sua roupa é genial. Tão simples e casual: uma blusa branca sem mangas e jeans. Mas todas as bijuterias douradas e batom roxo transforma o look em algo mais chique.
Eu me diverti muito fazendo esse ensaio, e adorei o resultado. Eu definitivamente irei vestir esse look de novo em breve e me sentir como Beyonce. Ela Arrasa! XO.

Feeling SoCal

As a Brazilian girl, I love summer. The winter in the East Side of the country is by far my least favorite thing about NY.

SoCal is an abbreviation for Southern California, an area which I haven't had the chance to know yet but I am dying to. Maybe that will be a place to escape during the cold winter in NYC.

However while winter is not here yet, I can put on some cut off denim shorts, mirrored sunglasses and pretend I am a California Gal.

New York actually has some great beaches. Unfortunately I haven't been in all of them yet but I love Fire Island, and for this shoot I was in Coney Island. Coney Island is very easy to access since you can take a subway and be right there, and also is not a long drive from the city by car. Its boardwalk is famous because of the rides and it was even scenario for Beyonce's music video XO.

Wish this summer could last longer and I could always pretend to be in California wearing summer clothes. Love it.

Como boa brasileira, eu amo o verão. O inverno no East Side dos EUA é de longe a minha última coisa favorita de NY.

SoCal é uma abreviatura para o sul da Califórnia, uma área que eu não tive a oportunidade de conhecer ainda, mas eu estou morrendo de vontade conhecer. Talvez esse seja um lugar para escapar durante o inverno frio em Nova York.

No entanto, enquanto o inverno ainda não está aqui, eu posso colocar um pouco de shorts jeans cut off, óculos espelhado, e fingir que sou uma California Gal.

New York na verdade tem boas praias. Infelizmente eu não fui em todas elas ainda, mas eu amo Fire Island, e para essas fotos eu estava em Coney Island. Coney Island é muito fácil de acessar, pois você pode pegar o metro e chegar lá bem na frente, e também não é muito londe de NYC dirigindo. O calçadão de lá é famoso por causa dos parques de diversão e já foi ate cenário para o clipe XO da Beyonce.

Queria que esse verão pudesse durar mais tempo e eu sempre pudesse fingir de estar na Califórnia vestindo roupas de verão. Adoro.

I Woke Up Like This ... Happy National Underwear Day!

Have you ever heard about National Underwear Day?

It was created by Freshpair on August 5th 2003, and since then it is celebrated every year in New York city. Last year at Times Square, Freshpair tried to break the Guinness World Record for largest gathering of people in their underwear. They did not break the record but over 800 people participated the semi naked event.

Já ouviu falar sobre o Dia Nacional das roupas íntimas?

Esse dia existe aqui nos Estados Unidos. Foi criado pela Freshpair em 5 de agosto de 2003, e desde então é comemorado todos os anos na cidade de Nova Iorque. No ano passado, na Times Square, a Freshpair tentou quebrar o Recorde Mundial de maior reunião de pessoas em suas roupas íntimas. Eles não conseguiram quebrar o recorde, porém mais de 800 pessoas participaram do evento semi nu.

Soho vibes

I did this photo shoot in SoHo NYC. For those who do not know SoHo is a neighborhood in Lower Manhattan and stands for south of Houston street. SoHo first got people's attention because of its art galleries and many artists lofts, however today SoHo is a great place to shop.

It is definitely one of my favorite places to shop in NYC. I love how you can find boutiques of high end fashion like Chanel and also fast fashion such as H&M.

There are options for every pocket and taste. Talking about taste, there are also many cute bakeries and coffee shops. One place I love is Georgetown Cupcake, their cupcakes are light and fluffy, just the way I like it.

So if you ever come to NYC, do not leave without coming to SoHo.

Eu fiz essa secao de fotos no SoHo em Nova Iorque. Para quem nao sabe SoHo e um bairro na parte inferior de Manhattan. SoHo primeiramente chamou atencao das pessoas por causa de suas galerias de artes e muitos lofts de artistas. Porem, hoje SoHo e um otimo lugar para se fazer compras.

E definitivamente um dos meus lugares favoritos para fazer compra em NYC. Eu amo como se pode achar lojas de luxo como Chanel e tambem lojas fast fashion como H&M.

Tem opcoes para todos os bolsos e gostos. E falando sobre gosto, tem tambem muita bakery (lojas que vendem bolos e docinhos), e coffee shops. Um lugar que eu amo e o Georgetown Cupcake. Os cupcakes de la sao leves e fofinhos, do jeito que eu gosto.

Entao se voce qualquer dia vim para Nova Iorque, nao va embora sem conhecer o SoHo.

In DUMBO with Momo

For those who don't know, DUMBO is a neighborhood located between Manhattan and the Brooklyn Bridge, which connects both boroughs. DUMBO stands for Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass. Is a very small neighborhood but with incredible beautiful views of Manhattan and its bridges. There are many cute stylish restaurants and shops around. Pizzeria Grimaldi's and Jacques Torres Chocolate shop being two famous and most visited. You see street art all around, but most impressing are the walls with vibrant colors by Momo Art.
In DUMBO you find people from everywhere with all different styles, but of course since it is a Brooklyn neighborhood you will find the 'hipster touch', and it is definitely a great place to buy vintage. Visit DUMBO ;)

Para aqueles que nao sabem, DUMBO e uma area localizada entre Manhattan e a Ponte do Brooklyn, que liga os dois bairros. E uma area bem pequena mas com incriveis paisagens de Manhattan e suas pontes. Muitos restaurantes e lojinhas fofas e estilosas em toda parte. A Pizzeria Grimaldi's e Jacques Torres Chocolate shop sao dois famosos e mais visitados.
Voce ve arte em toda parte, mas o que e mais impressionante sao as paredes com as cores vibrantes. Em DUMBO voce acha pessoas de todos os lugares e de todos os estilos, mas por ser no Brooklyn, voce vai achar alguns 'toques hipsters', e e definitivamente um otimo lugar pra comprar vintage.
