Persimmon Dress To Brighten up This Autumn

I bought this dress at Zara about two months ago, and I think it is great for the fall season, because of its persimmon color. I love the deep U-shaped-cut in the front of the dress, and the lace details as well. But my favorite thing about this dress is without a doubt its color.

Fall is definitely the time to start saying goodbye to the most colorful pieces in our wardrobe, and to go back to the winter-famous colors: black and grey. I will not lie and say that I don't like the "darker" clothes, I actually prefer those minimalistic tones. But I just don't feel ready to completely change yet, so this persimmon color is helping me transition from colorful to black.

I just feel like time is passing by so fast! Soon it will be winter, and all we see are black outfits. So during fall, I want to enjoy wearing the most of fall-earth-colors while I can. Getting in trouble in Williamsburg

Last Wednesday I reunited Nah Cardoso , Leandro Veneziani and our amazing photographer Lindsey Thoeng for a photo shoot in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. From older posts you can see how much I love this part of Brooklyn, and I was dying to do a shoot like this, representing one of the main style of this neighborhood: hipster.

Quarta-feira passada eu  reuni Nah Cardoso, Leandro Veneziani e nossa incrível  fotógrafa Lindsey Thoeng para uma sessão de fotos em Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Nos meus posts mais antigos você pode ver o quanto eu amo essa parte do Brooklyn.  Eu estava morrendo de vontade de fazer uma sessão como essa, representando um dos principais estilo desse bairro: o Hipster.

There are plenty of great locations to shoot here, but this particular spot was a good found. We were at the waterfront, between Greenpoint and Williamsburg. In only one little area we could do different outfits pictures, because we had amazing options of backgrounds.

Existe uma infinidade de excelentes locais para fotografar aqui. Porem, esse em particular foi um bom achado. Estávamos entre Greenpoint e Williamsburg, de frente para o Rio Hudson. Em apenas uma pequena área conseguimos fotografar looks diferentes porque tínhamos opções incríveis de fundos.

I really liked how everything turned out.  I selected the most cool clothes I could find, and I love the plaid prints, bold lipsticks, beanies, boots, cut out shorts, and so on. Definitely a good inspiration for whoever wants to "hipster up" their wardrobe.

Eu realmente gostei de como tudo saiu. Eu selecionei as roupas mais "modernas" que encontrei. Adoro as estampas xadrez, batons ousado, gorros, botas, cut out shorts, e assim por diante. Definitivamente uma boa inspiração para quem quer "hipster up" seu guarda-roupa.

About Greenpoint

Greenpoint is a neighborhood of Brooklyn. It is bordered by Williamsburg so there are stylish hipsters walking around, but it is more residential and quieter than Williamsburg. Besides watching the cool people, what I like the most about this place is how clean and nice it look, and also the good places to eat. In the evening after taking the following pictures, I had dinner in the most romantic place I have ever eaten. It is called Milk and Roses Bistro. They have a very cute outside area full of plants and low lights, and the food was great. Greenpoint is a great place to visit if you are in Brooklyn.

Now let's talk a little bit about my outfit. The shirt I am wearing is by Rolla Coaster. I was not able to find it online and it was a gift, so unfortunately I have no idea where to find it. It looks like a simple black Tee but the back of it is long. I love to match it with shorts or leggings plus a necklace as a last touch. If you know where to find this style of Tees please let me know. 

I also want to bring some attention to my bag. It is a backpack, but also can be a handbag. I found it at Forever 21 for a great price (link to buy it at the end of the post). I have been wearing this bag all the time now and differently from a lot of stuff from Forever 21 it has a good quality. The material of it is pretty good and it looks fancy, definitely a great find. xo!

Greenpoint é um bairro do Brooklyn. Fica do lado de Williamsburg entao tem varios hipster descolados andando por la, entretanto é mais residencial e mais silencioso do que Williamsburg. Além de ver as pessoas estilosas, o que eu mais gosto sobre esse lugar é o quanto é  limpo, bonito, e também os bons lugares para comer. Depois de tirar as seguintes fotos, eu fui jantar no lugar mais romântico que eu já comi. Ele é chamado Milk and Roses Bistro . O restaurante têm uma área externa muito bonita, cheio de plantas, luzes fracas, e a comida é ótima. Greenpoint é um ótimo lugar para visitar se você estiver em Brooklyn. 

Agora vamos falar um pouco sobre a minha roupa. A camisa que estou usando é da Rolla Coaster. Eu não consegui achar ela online e ganhei ela de presente, então infelizmente eu não tenho nenhuma idéia de onde encontrá-la. Ela parece uma camiseta preta simples, mas a parte de trás é longa. Eu gosto de vestir ela com shorts ou leggings, e um colar para dar um último toque. Se você sabe onde encontrar esse estilo de camiseta por favor me avise. 
Eu também quero trazer um pouco de atenção para a minha bolsa. É uma mochila, mas também pode ser uma bolsa. Eu encontrei ela na Forever 21 por um ótimo preço (link para comprar no final do post, me avisem se quiserem encomendar do Brasil). Eu tenho usado essa bolsa o tempo todo, e diferente de um monte de coisas da Forever 21, essa bolsa tem uma boa qualidade. O material é muito bom e parece algo chique e fancy, definitivamente um grande achado.
