I would do anything to be at Manhattan Beach instead of Manhattan NYC today. Of course, I would rather be at the beach wearing this gorgeous bathing suit than inside my apartment hiding from the extreme cold outside. But ok, I will stay strong and looking forward to summer, or my next trip.

I am absolutely in love with this airy maxi skirt by Billlabong! As part of their Fade to White Collection, it has a distinct look with many gorgeous tiers and trims. I am very excited to collaborate with Billabong because I have always been a big fan of the brand. Growing up on the coast of Sao Paulo and as beach lovers, Billabong was very popular among me and my friends. We always enjoyed their surf style vibe, and how comfortable their clothes are.

It's been only three days since I got back from California, but the disgustingly cold weather of NYC makes me want to go back in time and be at the beach again, with my face in the sun and my feet in the sand!

Hollywood's Best Hike
I arrived in Los Angeles on Wednesday afternoon. I was super excited to finally get to know “The Golden State”, where the winter isn’t as extremely cold as in NYC. The weather didn’t disappoint me: As soon as I stepped out of LAX, rays of the shining sun hit my skin, and I immediately felt like it was summer again.
In the next morning, we were ready to enjoy some time outside, so we went on a hike that leads to the area behind the Hollywood sign. It took us about 45 minutes to get to the top, and the entire path was very enjoyable. The walking up was not too steep, the weather was deliciously warm, and after every turn, a new magnificent view was revealed. I could not stop thinking how blessed I am for having the chance to see from close what I always saw on the screens.
To make the day even more exciting, I bumped into Brazilian beauty blogger Camila Coelho on my way to the hike. She is even more lovely in person, and it was nice to see her shooting for a Riachuelo (Brazilian fashion store) campaign here in California.

Baby it's cold outside
It's cold again in New York City! I feel like the summer went by so, so fast! As a Brazilian, I think it's needless to say that I don't like the cold and the winter is definitely the least thing I like about NYC. However, I love this city so much, so it's worth dealing with the low temperature: the solution is to find great coats and some tricks like the heattech clothes by Uniqlo to keep our bodies warm.
Está frio novamente em New York City! Eu sinto que o verão passou tão tão rápido! Eu sou brasileira, e acho que é desnecessário dizer que eu não gosto do frio. O inverno é definitivamente a última coisa que eu amo sobre NYC . No entanto, eu amo esta cidade tanto, que vale a pena lidar com a baixa temperatura. Ja que eu não posso mudar o clima, a solução é encontrar bons casacos e alguns truques, como as roupas heattech da Uniqlo para manter o corpo aquecido.
This fur coat I was wearing at Times Square is actually my friend Leandro's coat. He bought it at a thrift store and I ended up wearing it more often than him. It is super warm no matter how little I wear underneath. I wear it mostly because of the comfort of not being cold, but I always receive compliments about how fabulous it looks.

Welcoming the New Year
31 December! Last day of 2014, what an amazing year! Looking back on everything that happened this year, I am satisfied. I am very happy with everything I achieved, for being able to handle a lot of work along with going to school full-time, and still making time to take care of my body and health. This was my first year of living in New York City and I proved to myself that I can handle this crazy and intense city.
31 de dezembro! Último dia de 2014, que foi um ano incrível! Olhando para trás, para tudo o que aconteceu ao longo deste ano , estou muito satisfeita. Estou muito feliz com tudo o que eu consegui, por ser capaz de conciliar muito trabalho e faculdade, e ainda fazer tempo para cuidar do meu corpo e da minha saúde. Esse foi o meu primeiro ano em Nova York e eu provei para mim mesma que eu posso lidar com esta cidade louca e intensa.
Blogging is something that have I wanted to do for a long time, but I don't really know why we, human beings, tend to postpone our dreams. Sometimes we let the fears, and the "what ifs" speak louder than our passions. We can't keep doing that to ourselves. Life is short!

Amazed with this gorgeous poncho from Pendleton X Urban Outfitters! It is reversible, which means you can wear both sides: black and white, or inside out white and black, brilliant! And it feels super cozy to be wrapped up in this! I feel like I finally can bring my "blanket" with me outside and look fabulous!

Uniqlo is a store that I got to know in my first year in the USA. I really liked the store because of their ultra light down coats which are very helpful during winter time. After exploring the store more, I found out how nice their clothes are because they are made in a very good material, plus the price is totally reasonable. When shopping at Uniqlo your pocket will feel like shopping at H&M or Zara, but the pieces are less trendy and more comfortable and practical.
Uniqlo é uma loja que eu conheci no meu primeiro ano nos EUA. Eu realmente gostei da loja por causa de seus casacos leves que são muito úteis durante o inverno. Depois de explorar a loja mais, eu descobri que as suas roupas são de otima qualidade porque são feitas com um material muito bom, e o preço é totalmente acessivel. Comprando na Uniqlo, o seu bolso vai sentir como se estivesse comprando na H&M ou Zara, mas as peças são menos modernas e mais confortáveis e práticas.

Current Obsession: Knee High Socks
In this look I am wearing a combination of denim short with my new obsession: black knee high socks. Since it's not freezing cold yet in New York, I am still able to match up those socks with shorts, skirts, or dresses. If I want my look to be casual I just put my knee high socks on with my converse sneakers, and for a fancier look I choose boots. I love how they make my legs look longer!
Nesse look eu estou usando uma combinação de shorts denim com a minha nova obsessão: meias 3/4. Enquanto ainda não está congelando em Nova York, eu ainda consigo usar meias 3/4 com shorts , saias, ou vestidos. Se eu quero um look casual uso com tênis Converse, e para um look mais arrumadinho opto por botas. Eu adoro como essas meias fazem as minhas pernas parecerem mais longas!

Alexander Wang x H&M
After months of anticipation, the collection designed by Alexander Wang for H&M finally hit the stores last Thursday. The collaboration was announced last April, during the Coachella Festival, and all the teasers made everyone super eager to finally see it in person.
I really wanted to get some items of the collection, and knew it would be sold out quickly, so I started preparing my plan of action. After some research, I found the list of H&M stores in New York selling the line, the time they would open, and how H&M would coordinate handling the fashionable crowd, who could no longer wait to put their hands on the Alexander Wang clothes. I learned that I should be at the H&M store by 8 am to get a bracelet which would allow me to get in and shop, but for ONLY 15 minutes. Yes, I would have less than 20 minutes to choose what I wanted, and pay (forget about trying it on, ain't nobody got time for that!) I did my homework by going through the pieces online and making a list of what I wanted, so I could get everything I fast.
Depois de meses de espera, a coleção desenhada por Alexander Wang para a H&M finalmente chegou às lojas na última quinta. Eles anunciaram a colaboração em abril passado, durante o Festival Coachella, e todos os teasers fez todo mundo ansioso para finalmente ver a colecao em pessoa.
Eu realmente queria alguns itens da coleção, e sabia que iria rapidamente ficar fora de estoque, então comecei a preparar o meu plano de ação. Depois de algumas pesquisas, descobri a lista de lojas H&M em Nova Iorque que iriam vender a linha, o horario em que as lojas iam iria abrir, e como a H&M coordenaria a multidão fashionista, que já não podia esperar para colocar suas mãos nas roupas do Alexander Wang. Eu li que eu deveria estar na loja H&M as 8:00 da manha, e esperar na fila para receber uma pulseira que me permitiria entrar e fazer compras, mas para apenas 15 minutos. Sim, eu teria menos de 20 minutos para escolher o que eu queria, e pagar (esquece experimentar, ain't nobody got time for that!) Eu fiz a minha lição de casa, escolhi as peças online e fiz uma lista do que eu queria, assim eu conseguiria pegar tudo bem rápido.
I arrived at the store in Soho at around 7:40 am, the line was not as long as I expected: only about 16 people ahead of me. Everyone was happy and excited to get in. Around 7:50 H&M staff started handing out the bracelets. At 8:25 the next group of 10 (including me) entered the store. The attendants directed us to the basement where they had the clothes displayed in a small area. Suddenly the calm environment turned into a race of hungry fashionistas speeding through the racks of clothes, competing for the best pieces before they sold out. I have to confess that I became a little scared, and thought: Why are these people so crazy to get their stuff? The store just opened! But then I saw that there were only two black dresses I wanted left, and realized that I had to join the race.
I am so glad I had picked in advance what I wanted, it helped me to get everything fast. However when I saw everything and touched the high quality of the fabrics, I ended up buying more than I planned. For me the items are quite eccentric; some of them made more sense once I saw them physically in front of me, others are still unwearable in my opinion.
Cheguei na loja no Soho em torno de 07h40, a fila não estava tão longa como eu esperava: apenas cerca de 16 pessoas na minha frente. Todo mundo estava feliz e animado para entrar. Por volta de 07:50 eles começaram a distribuir as pulseiras. 08:25 o próximo grupo de 10 (inclusive eu) entramos na loja. Os atendentes nos dirigiu para o andar inferior onde eles tinham as roupas exibidas em uma pequena área. De repente, o ambiente calmo se transformou em uma corrida de fashionistas famintos, correndo pelas prateleiras de roupas, competindo pelas melhores peças antes de elas esgotaram. Tenho que confessar que fiquei um pouco assustada, e pensei: Por que essas pessoas estão loucas para conseguir suas coisas? A loja acabou de abrir! Mas ai eu vi que tinha apenas 2 vestidos pretos que eu queria, ai caiu minha ficha que eu tinha que participar da corrida.
Fiquei feliz que eu já tinha escolhido o que eu queria, me ajudou a conseguir tudo rapidamente. No entanto, quando eu vi tudo e toquei a alta qualidade dos tecidos, acabei comprando mais do que eu planejei. Para mim, os itens são bastante excêntrico; alguns deles fazia mais sentido uma vez que os vi fisicamente, outros nunca vestiria .
Dress with Perforated Pattern
My favorite is the Dress with Perforated Pattern. The fabric feels super nice, and is very heavy which makes it fit well on our body, and the perforated pattern on the chest is delicate yet edgy. I like the contrast of the black with the skin that is visible through the perforations.
O meu favorito é o Dress with Perforated Pattern. O tecido é super agradável, é bem pesado e encaixar bem no nosso corpo. O perfurado no peito é delicado porem estiloso. Adoro o contraste do preto com a pele que é visível através das perfurações.
Jacquard-knit Sports Tights + Short Scuba Top
I love the material of the Jacquard-knit Sports Tights (Yes Rihanna!) When I put it on I felt like my lower body was being held in place. Like I had very tight legs and butt (a dream). However I think the WANG print was a bit excessive. The Short Scuba Top is very cute in the pictures, but in reality it does not look that great. I was a bit disappointed.
Eu amei o tecido dessa leggings (Sim, a mesma que a Rihanna usou!) Quando eu vesti eu senti como se minhas pernas estivessem sendo seguradas no lugar certo. Como se eu tivesse as pernas e bumbum durinho (sonho meu!). No entanto, eu achei que a estampa WANG um pouco excessiva. The Short Scuba Top é muito bonito nas fotos, mas na realidade não fica tão legal. Fiquei um pouco decepcionada.
The Fitted Dress
The Fitted Dress is beautiful! It reminds me a lot of the style the girls in Brazil like to wear. Its fabric is again exceptionally great. The black, gray and blue were well chosen. Differently from the other dress I got, this one will not look good if you are not fit (I was not very happy with my belly falling out of the cut-out). And lastly the most important fact about this dress: If you put it on by yourself, in less than 5 minutes, you have amazing skills and can definitely pat yourself on the back! The straps get mixed up with the wrap-style section on the waist, and the dress is so tight it becomes hard to fix or even figure out whatever went wrong. I took about ten minutes to put it on the first time (with extra help)! When it was finally on I was sweating and trying to catch my breath, but it was worth it: I love the way it looks.
Esse vestido é LINDO! Ele me lembra muito o estilo dos vestidos mais usados no Brasil. Seu tecido é novamente excepcionalmente ótimo. O preto, cinza e azul foram bem escolhidos. Diferentemente do primeiro vestido, esse não vai fica bem se você não estiver com um corpo legal (eu não fiquei feliz com a minha barriga sobrando no corte lateral). E por último, o fato mais importante sobre este vestido: Se você colocá-lo por sozinha, em menos de 5 minutos, significa que você tem habilidades incríveis e pode aplaudir voce mesma! As alças se misturam com a faixa da cintura, e o vestido é tão apertado que se torna difícil de corrigir ou até mesmo descobrir o que deu errado. Eu levei cerca de 10 minutos para colocá-lo na primeira vez (com ajuda)! Quando finalmente consegui colocar, eu estava suando e tentando recuperar o fôlego, mas valeu a pena: Eu amo o jeito que ele ficou.
At 10 am the online shop went live but I consider whoever got to buy anything very lucky. The website couldn't handle the heavy traffic and once you were able to get through, the best pieces were sold out.
I am glad I got to buy what I wanted (I also got the boxing ring key chain and water bottle). It was definitely worthy the wait, and who knows when another great high-low fashion match like this will pop up?
Às 10 horas a loja on-line foi ao ar, mas eu considero quem conseguiu comprar qualquer coisa uma pessoa de sorte. O site não funcionava por causa do tráfego pesado e quando entrava, as melhores peças ja tinham sido vendidas.
Eu fiquei feliz de ter conseguido comprar o que eu queria (eu também comprei chaveiro e garrafa de água). Definitivamente valeu a espera, e quem sabe quando que uma outra combinação de high-low fashion como essa irá aparecer novamente?

Uniqlo collaboration with Helmut Lang designer Alexandre Plokhov
As a quickly expanding clothing retailer, Uniqlo is keeping up with the high-low collaboration trend. Last month they launched a capsule collection with Alexandre Plokhov, Helmut Lang's menswear director. The affordable collection includes comfortable yet stylish urban sweats for men, women, unisex and kids, and I love it because it matches my chic casual style - keeping the quality and comfort of Uniqlo, but with a style more sports sophisticated. From the hoodies to the sweatpants, I could wear every single piece in this capsule. The entire collection is in black or grey; two colors that I love to have in my closet because they are versatile and match with anything. And last but not least: it's affordable - everything is priced from $19.90 to $59.90. Gotta love Uniqlo!

Uniqlo é definitivamente uma empresa de roupas que está crescendo muito rápido. E para manter-se com a qualidade e competir com outras grandes lojas, eles estão sempre trazendo algo novo e surpreendente. Agora eles fizeram uma parceria com Alexandre Plokhov, o designer de Helmut Lang desde fevereiro.
Eles lançaram uma cápsula com moletons maravilhosos. Mantendo a qualidade e o conforto da Uniqlo, mas com um estilo mais esportivo e sofisticado. Eu usaria fácil cada peça dessa coleção. Na minha opinião esta tudo tão lindo e fala muito com o meu estilo casual chique. Além disso, toda a colecção foi feita nas cores preta ou cinza! Duas cores que eu amo ter no meu armário por causa da versátilidade para combinar com qualquer roupa. E mais uma última coisa a acrescentar; O preço. O valor das roupas variam de $ 19,90 a $ 59,90. Getting in trouble in Williamsburg
Last Wednesday I reunited Nah Cardoso , Leandro Veneziani and our amazing photographer Lindsey Thoeng for a photo shoot in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. From older posts you can see how much I love this part of Brooklyn, and I was dying to do a shoot like this, representing one of the main style of this neighborhood: hipster.
Quarta-feira passada eu reuni Nah Cardoso, Leandro Veneziani e nossa incrível fotógrafa Lindsey Thoeng para uma sessão de fotos em Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Nos meus posts mais antigos você pode ver o quanto eu amo essa parte do Brooklyn. Eu estava morrendo de vontade de fazer uma sessão como essa, representando um dos principais estilo desse bairro: o Hipster.
Nah Cardoso is a Brazilian fashion blogger who was visiting New York City, and I thought it would be a great collaboration, since she also loves Brooklyn and fashion.

There are plenty of great locations to shoot here, but this particular spot was a good found. We were at the waterfront, between Greenpoint and Williamsburg. In only one little area we could do different outfits pictures, because we had amazing options of backgrounds.
Existe uma infinidade de excelentes locais para fotografar aqui. Porem, esse em particular foi um bom achado. Estávamos entre Greenpoint e Williamsburg, de frente para o Rio Hudson. Em apenas uma pequena área conseguimos fotografar looks diferentes porque tínhamos opções incríveis de fundos.
I really liked how everything turned out. I selected the most cool clothes I could find, and I love the plaid prints, bold lipsticks, beanies, boots, cut out shorts, and so on. Definitely a good inspiration for whoever wants to "hipster up" their wardrobe.
Eu realmente gostei de como tudo saiu. Eu selecionei as roupas mais "modernas" que encontrei. Adoro as estampas xadrez, batons ousado, gorros, botas, cut out shorts, e assim por diante. Definitivamente uma boa inspiração para quem quer "hipster up" seu guarda-roupa.

Dream Believe Achieve Sweatshirt
Last Sunday I went on hike in Bear Mountain, NY. It was my first hike in the US and I had so much fun. The place was absolutely beautiful! Gorgeous views of the Hudson River and it's surroundings.
